By creating an account, you agree to use PingFinger for outreach you would be comfortable explaining to the person on the receiving end. We expect users to act like they are talking to humans, because they are.
That's the spirit of the agreement. The sections below cover the specifics: what you can't do, what we're responsible for, and what happens when things go wrong.
What you can't do
TL;DR
Harassment, impersonation, reselling, reverse-engineering — all off-limits.
Send harassment, threats, or any unlawful content through the extension.
Use it to impersonate a person, brand, or organization you have no claim to.
Resell, sublicense, or repackage PingFinger as your own product.
Try to reverse-engineer the bot to extract proprietary logic.
Send anything that violates Reddit's or X's own platform rules.
Platform rules
TL;DR
Your account, your responsibility. We build safety in but the platforms set their own rules.
Reddit and X have their own automated-messaging policies. You are responsible for staying within them.
PingFinger is built with conservative pacing and human-like behavior precisely to keep you safe — but the account you use it on is yours, and any consequences of how you use it are yours.
If a platform changes its rules and our default behavior becomes risky, we ship an update fast and notify all users. You stay in the loop via the changelog.
Plans and billing
TL;DR
Pro renews monthly. Cancel any time. 14-day refund window on fresh subscriptions.
Pro plans renew monthly until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; you keep Pro access until the end of the current billing period and then drop back to Free with no data loss.
Refunds inside the first 14 days of a fresh subscription are no questions asked — email us and we'll process within the same day.
After 14 days, we handle refund requests case-by-case in good faith. If our reliability falls below what you paid for, we'll make it right.
Annual plans receive 20% off and are pro-rated when cancelled.
Liability
TL;DR
We work hard on reliability but can't guarantee specific outcomes. Liability capped at 12 months of fees.
PingFinger is provided as-is. We work hard on reliability, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or specific outcomes (replies, sales, account safety).
To the extent allowed by law, our maximum liability for any claim is capped at what you paid us in the prior twelve months.
For free-plan users, our maximum liability is $50 — a token amount that mirrors industry practice for free SaaS tools.
Account termination
TL;DR
We can close accounts that abuse the system. You can close yours any time.
We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the platform, or use PingFinger for harm.
We will give a clear reason and at least 7 days to export your data before any termination, except in cases of obvious fraud or abuse-in-progress (e.g. mass harassment campaigns), where we reserve the right to close accounts immediately.
You can close your own account at any time from the billing portal — your data is fully deleted within 30 days.
Changes to these terms
TL;DR
Substantial changes get 14 days notice via email.
If we change these terms in a material way, we will email every account holder with at least 14 days notice before the change takes effect.
Material changes include anything that expands what you can't do, reduces a user right, or changes pricing structure. Minor clarifications and typo fixes happen without notice.
